We visited Sweden in March 2005, and looked for Dave's "roots" in Western Sweden. These are some pictures of Churches
where his ancestors were married and are buried, and in nearby Säffle and Svanskog.

We believe Dave's great-grandparents, Anders Anderson & Christina Henriksdotter, were married in the church in Tveta in
about 1853. The family, with their four daughters incuding Maria Andersdotter, Dave's grandmother, emigrated to Minnesota
in 1870. The church appears to have been re-built since then, probably due to age, fire, etc.

Dave's great-great grandparents Olof Tössberg, Märta Henriksdotter, Hans Anderson, and Marie Nilsdotter, and two of their
children Henrik Olsson, and Stina Hansdotter, are probably buried in the Mo church graveyard. They lived and died in Öjersbyn,
a small village/farm just a few kilometers from Mo within the parish. Henrik's and Stina's daughter Christina married Anders,
probably in Tveta.
Olof Tössberg was born in 1766 and served in the Swedish army, probably as a member of the Västgöta-Dals Regiment. He
fought in one battle with the Russians in 1790, which the Swedes won.
On the next page, there's a picture of Öjersbyn as it looks today.

| Svanskog, Dalsland |

The churches at Säffle and Svanskog are near Tveta and Mo. It is unlikely if there was any connection with Dave's ancestors,
except they would undoubtedly have visited these two communities.

All of these churches are in the Western region of Sweden, near Lake Vänern, the largest lake in Sweden. Stockholm is about
350 km east of Lake Vänern.
