“Johannes(Hans) Gold was born 24 December 1649 in Zuchdol
and the godparents were Thomas Nitzschman and Anna Grosser”

He had 4sisters and a younger brother, Mathias.
“Johannes(Hans) Gold, farmer, son of the in God resting farmer,
George Gold from Zauchdol on 11 November 1674 married Anna,
daughter of the farmer Michel Frietsch from Zauchtel and the
witness were Mathes Grtosser and Martin Nietschmann.”

Johannes and Anna had 6 children, 3 girls and 3 boys of whom Paulus was the oldest.
Johannes (Hans) Gold bought the house of his father, George
Gold, farmstead #73 in Suchdol on October 23, 1674. “On 23
October 1674, George Gold bought the farmstead #73 after the died George Gold for 270 thaler. He had to pay as advance payment 80 thaler in 8 terms. Yearly he will pay 4 thaler until the time when the amount of money will be paid. For his mother, he has to give l metz of rye, ˝ metz of wheat, ˝ metz of barley, and ˝ metz of oats. She also will have one room for living, and one closet for her items. Yearly he will give her 1 scheffel of wheat, 2 scheffel of rye, 1 scheffel of barley, 1 schelffel of oats and 2 beds of sauerkraut, and another bed for hemp and two metz of hemp seed and 1 metz of flax seed; her 2 cows he will feed by his hay and straw during the winter and two apple trees owned by her father, 3 pear trees, one above and the others below the gate. Nevertheless, the buyer had to pay to his brothers, 9 thaler for horse and wagon with harness. For each of them he had a free place at the table with food, for l1 year after his wedding date. Johannes(Hans) Gold in 1721, the second son of Johannes(Hans)
Gold. “The farmstead was sold on 20 October 1729 by the
authorities of the Kunwald Dominum to Hans Klassen. The
aforementioned Johannes (Hans) Gold from Zauchdol (the second
son of Johannes(Hans) Gold) escaped to Saxony for his heretic belief
and left the farmstead here . . . dated 23 June 1732 and signed by
Eleanora, the Countess von Harrach, born as Princess von

Eleanora, was born as Countess Eleanora von Thun, the
sister of Countess Magdalena von Thun who was married to the
noble Count Franz Seremyi who owned the Kunin Dominum after
the 30 Years War.
