DBSA Fox Valley - About Us

We are a chapter of the Depression and Bipolar Support Alliance, and are located in the Western suburbs of Chicago, Illinois. We have two meetings a month.

The first of these two meetings is on the second Tuesday of the month. This meeting is for those suffering depression or bipolar disorder and their family and friends, and is a support-group style of meeting, where those present divide into small groups for facilitator-led discussions.

The second of these two meetings is on the fourth Tuesday of the month. This meeting is open to the community, and is an education-lecture style of meeting, usually with an outside speaker who has been invited to speak on a topic that is of interest to our group, related to bipolar disorder, depression, or both, in some way.

There is a free literature table at the meetings. Members receive a quarterly newsletter.

We meet in the Behavioral Health Services building on the main campus of Central DuPage Hospital in Winfield, Illinois. Social time is from 7 to 7:30 PM, and meeting begins at 7:30 PM. See you there!
