DBSA Fox Valley - Meetings

We meet in the Behavioral Health Services (BHS) building on the main campus of Central DuPage Hospital in Winfield, Illinois. Social time is from 7 to 7:30 PM, and meeting begins at 7:30 PM and ends at 9:00 PM. The address is:

October 13: Share/Care - Facilitator led smaller groups discuss issues relating to Depression and Bipolar Disorder. Individuals with mood disorders and their supportive family and friends are welcome.

October 27: Hear Brian McGing speak on his personal life experience dealing with bipolar illness. His emphasis is on recovery and how an individual can be their own best advocate. He will show the DVD he made called “Into the Wind.”

November 10: Share/Care

November 24: Dr. P.J. Hruby, from Labyrinth Counseling Center in Naperville, will speak on anxiety and depression and discuss a new therapy, Eye Movement Desensitization Reprocessing (EMDR).

December 8: Our annual “Share/Care with a holiday flair." Come and enjoy the food and companionship.
