- Canadian Centre on Disability Studies is a consumer-directed, university affiliated centre dedicated to research, education and information dissemination on disability issues.
- The Cowichan Valley Independent Living Resource Centre Society has links to Independent Living Centres in Canada
- Disability Net This is an in depth resource for information serving the disability community abroad and also with items valuable to those here in the U.S.A.
- Links to European and American Deaf organizations
- The Independent Living Centre (ILC) of Western Australia is a non-profit community service organisation which provides impartial, expert advice on equipment, building and design, access and resources for people with disabilities, their advocates, careers and service providers. Independent Living Centres in Australia have a different focus to those in the USA - 'ave a look!!! And thanks to Annabel Gregory, an Occupational Therapist there, for the link.
- The Integrated Network of Disability Information and Education is one of the most comprhensive, well organized, one-stop resources for products, services, and information for the world wide disability community. Based in France, available in English, it is a major resource guide.
- Information Commons is an Adaptive Technology Resource Centre, located in Toronto, Ontario, Canada. It functions through the University of Toronto Information Commons
- Iwan's Home Page is a direct link to disability information in Japan and access to worldwide links.
- The Massachusetts General Hospital/Harvard Guide to Organizations Providing Epilepsy Support and Education is the most in depth guide to Epilepsy information I have found. It covers local, national, and international sites for assisting you.
- Mobility International USA has set its mission to empower people with disabilities around the world through international
exchange, information, technical assistance and training, and to ensure the inclusion of people with disabilities in international exchange and development programs.
- The National Institute for Blind and Partially Sighted Children and Youth in Denmark contains a mini Iog-text which is a personal aid for blind Braille users. The device has many possible applications and is at the same time easy to operate. The device holds its own operating instructions.
