The ADA Technical Assistance Programs

THE AMERICANS WITH DISABILITIES ACT (ADA) OPENS NEW OPPORTUNITIES FOR PERSONS WITH DISABILITIES. IT ALSO PLACES "NEW" RESPONSIBILITIES ON EMPLOYERS, TRANSIT AND COMMUNICATIONS SYSTEMS, STATE AND LOCAL GOVERNMENTS, AND PUBLIC ACCOMMODATIONS.

To assist covered parties understand and comply with the ADA, the National Institute on Disability and Rehabilitation Research (NIDRR) has funded ten Regional Disability and Business Technical Assistance Centers (DBTACs). These regional centers, listed below, will provide technical assistance, training, and resource referral on ALL aspects of the ADA.
