The Douglas Bear Company produces hand-crafted, one of a kind Bears. exclusively by special order. Because we use fabric specified or provided by the client, we have no stock inventory available for purchase; your Bear will be exactly that: your Bear.

We are extremely versatile in meeting the wishes of our clients, and there are a world of possibilities for you! Previous requests we've been more than happy to accommodate have included twill fabric screened with the logo of a favorite football team, soft pink fleece adorned with a penguin print, contrasting canvas for a more durable bear in someone's favorite colors- the possibilities are virtually endless.

One of our most common requests and one we are always pleased to honor is the transformation of a loved one's treasured fur coat or cape into something new to cherish. Today many find themselves inheriting family furs, furs that are perhaps no longer fashionable or are just impractical to wear today. We delight in turning a potentially painful decision- disposing of a family heirloom  that can't be used- into the birth of a new, beloved family heirloom- your own Douglas Bear!
