Newman > Unpublished Papers
I am uncertain about what one should do with an unpublished paper. For example, if one has a paper that one is convinced is reasonably good work, but which was not accepted by the journals to which it was submitted, what should be done with it? It seems a shame to throw the paper away if the work is really ok, but perhaps one should simply throw it away since the judgment of one's peers has suggested that the work really isn't that good. I've decided that in those cases where I'm convinced there is something of value in the paper, even it it's not good enough for publication, I'll put it here.
Compatabilism and Ultimate Responsibility is a discussion of Robert Kane's argument against compatabilism that I wrote in 2002.
Comments are welcome, but I reserve the right not to respond, and especially not to be drawn into a debate regarding what I have posted here.
