I am an avid cyclist. I ride both road and mountain bikes, but I spend more time on the road. I lead the Friday Flyer group ride on Friday evenings during daylight savings time. I often ride on Sunday mornings with an informal group called The Breakfast Club. In recent years, I have done the Elephant Rock century, the Triple Bypass, the Iron Horse Classic (yes, I beat the train), the Horsetooth Double Dip Bicycle Challenge (when it was a single day ride), and the Sunrise Century. I have also enjoyed the Bicycle Tour of Colorado four times, and in 2008 I rode from Telluride to Moab with Western Spirit Cycling. With some friends from the Breakfast Club, I have ridden the Copper Triangle and from Fort Collins to Rock Cut and back. Some of those were tough rides, but the toughest rides I've ever done are my three official finishes at the Leadville 100 Mountain Bike Race.
