My Biography?

This isn't exactly my biography, but it's a collection of bits and pieces of information about me that can be found here and there...

After graduating from college in 1977, I spent much of the next six or seven years developing new video game systems. My primary work was for Mattel's Intellevision system. You can read about Intellivision (and buy products!) at the Intellivision Lives web site. If you've got a working Colecovision, buy Steamroller! Look, it got an award and a good review from Digital Press! They've also posted this interview with me. Here's another article on the Digital Press awards! And on this page you'll find a picture of me at the Classic Gaming Expo. More of the same here. And don't miss the 20th anniversary Jino's Pizza party. Also another interview with IntellivisionWorld.

I've been a celebrity guest at the annual Classic Gaming Expo, which is a convention for those interested in classic video games. Here's my introduction.

ClassicGaming.com wrote a report on the Intellivision presence at the CGExpo. Here's the article.

I also appeared for approximately 2 seconds on a Canadian television show, Electric Playground. The clip is available at the bottom of this page, and I appear at the end of the clip.

Another classic game site, Good Deal Games, conducted this interview of me.

You know you've hit the big time when you're mentioned in CyberRoach Magazine. And here's a picture; I'm second from the left.

I was writing video games for Activision in the early 1980's. In the late 1990's, Activision called to tell me that one of my games, "Beamrider", was being re-released as part of an "Oldies" package (creak, creak!), and they wanted to include some information about the original author. So I prepared this document.

My earliest game work was on arcade systems. A fan has set up this "CYBER/GOTH" site. It's got pages for my games, Star Fire and Fire One! The basic descriptions and pictures of these games appear in the Killer List of Videogames. Here's the Star Fire entry and here is Fire One! Also, here's the Fire One! brochure.

Here are my Amazon.com reviews.

And here's a neat little gizmo that I programmed.
