This site has a wealth of information based on Kolb's LSI. There is an inventory chart for plotting your learning styles, an explanation of each learning style, and pages on how to teach to and motivate each of the styles for learning.

DVC Learning Style Survey for College

This online guide, developed at Diablo Valley College, is designed to help students become more successful. It includes a Learning Style Survey that will help them identify their learning style. It also includes learning strategies that are designed to help students study in a productive manner, one that matches their unique learning style. Personal Learning Style Inventory

This Learning Style Inventory is currently being used by NASA, Penn State University, Blue Cross, Blue Shield, Motorola University, Bose, hundreds of corporations and thousands of parents, teachers, and students in schools and universities throughout the world.  It divides learners into three categories: "visual," auditory," and "kinesthetic." Learning Style Inventory

This 45 question learning style inventory is automatically scored online. You are provided seven scores. The first three scores give you an indication of how you prefer to receive information. A high visual score means you like to read material and/or see diagrams and pictures. A high auditory score means you like to listen to information. A high Kinesthetic score means you prefer laboratories or models. The next two scores give you an idea of whether you prefer to work alone or in groups. The next two scores tell you how you prefer to express yourself. The final two scores indicate whether you prefer to see the "big picture" first or work in small steps.

Keller Graduate School of Management LS Inventory

This inventory is to find out something about your preferred learning method. Research on left brain/right brain differences and also on learning personality differences suggests that each person has preferred ways to receive and communicate information.

This learning style inventory is Adapted from Barsch Learning Style Inventory by Jeffrey Barsch, Ed.D. and Sensory Modality Checklist by Nancy A. Haynie. This site has a printable LS inventory and a scoresheet. The inventory categorizes learning styles into "visual," "auditory," and "tactile."

Personal Style Inventory

R. Craig Hogan and David W. Champagne devised the prototype of this inventory in their privately published book, Supervisory and Management Skills: A Competency Based Training Program for Middle Managers of Educational Systems. It is based on the Myers-Briggs model. This version is changed to suit a college learning situation. The inventory can be taken and scored online.

Grasha-Riechmann Student Learning Style Scales (GRSLSS)

The GRSLSS is a 60-item survey that determines a student's social preferences for learning. The six social learning styles identified by this model are the Independent, Dependent, Competitive, Collaborative, Avoidant, and Participant. This inventory can be completed and scored online. Grasha teaching styles inventory

Anthony F. Grasha's survey lets teachers evaluate their attitudes towards instructional behavior. Forty questions will probe assumptions about method in a specific course. You can take the Inventory for different courses and compare the results.
