Face-to-Face Workshops or Online Classes
The LTS is presented in three formats: as individual
presentations (1.5 hrs), as hands-on workshops (individual modules covered
in 2.5 hr segments or all modules covered in two, 7-hr days), or completely
online. Presentations can be scheduled in high-capacity rooms for many
attendees. Workshops are hands-on and will ideally be held in a lab
with multimedia computers connected to the Web (workshops are limited
to 20-25 persons). In the online mode, each module spans the course
of one week. Class activities are asynchronous and require a multimedia
computer and Web access (online classes limited to 20 persons). Both
the online and workshop formats use the ancillary Learning Technology
Series© CD/Web hybrid and students participate in online activities.
