David
N. Lee, M.S. has seven years experience as a biological monitor
and environmental compliance inspector. David studied plant community ecology in graduate school at Montana State University,
where he earned an M.S. degree. He earned his undergraduate degree, also in Biology, at U.C. Santa Cruz, where he studied
Conservation Biology and conducted field research on macaws in the Peruvian Amazon and gray whales off the California Coast.
Since then, David has worked as an environmental compliance inspector and biological monitor on numerous
projects, including the Tularosa Powerline Project in southern New Mexico, the REX Entrega natural gas pipeline project in
Southcentral Wyoming, the Kern River natural gas pipeline in the California desert, the Level (3) fiber optic cable installation
along the California Coast and a water pipeline installation project on Vandenberg Air Force Base, California. All of the
projects involved close communication and teamwork with contractors and government agency representatives. David is also an
accomplished outdoor photographer, journalist and author of numerous magazine articles and biological reports.
