A letter from Carl Madson to Janice and Glenn Perry, August 1999:I am so very sorry about the loss of your exceptional son Bruce, whom I admired for his energy, joy, creativity, and humanity. I know that his classmates and friends have already shared with you these past several days many stories of his kindness and warmth. I can only add that I always enjoyed his eagerness to talk about things that captured his imagination, whether mastering an old camera, or perfecting an animated cartoon, or just the funny parts of life. Thank you for guiding him and letting him find his way toward being a wonderful example of friendship, brotherhood, and family. I will always miss him, but his memory will always make me smile. |
