I'm visiting my friend Larry in Stanwood, Washington
From "Another Country"

I was reading news accounts of what it's like for a U.S. soldier to be working at a check point in Iraq. Not knowing the culture it's very hard to understand just what's going on. Often decisions, up to and including lethal force, are made very quickly, so the decisions made aren't always the best ones.

It's fifty fifty
a split decision
You must decide
in one second
or less or less
no second chances
dealt a pack
of fifty-one cards

If you're right
somebody may die
If you're wrong
somebody may die
If you're right not
somebody may live
If you're wrong not
forget about it
