Icebergs create great resting places for seals. They can sleep, give birth, nurse and gaze at the passengers on the passing cruise vessels. I believe they have figured out exactly how close the boats can get before most of the passengers can get a good shot of them with their cameras and they dive off the ice into the water seconds before this distance is reached.
