After living in downtown Los Angeles for almost 4 years we bought this 1924 Mission Style home.  It's located about 6 miles west of downtown not too far from Miracle Mile.  We're completely restoring and updating the house, which takes up most of my spare time.

After a bit of landscaping here's the way the exterior looked in the spring of 2000, about three and a half years after moving in.  Most of the interior work has been done.  We still need to redo the kitchen and surrounding space before beginning work on refinishing the outside.

And five years later, early summer of 2005, this is the front exterior after sandblasting the old textured paint and re-stuccoing the entire house.
