My Philosophy
by David Hauser
My philosophy is to provide my clients and students high quality tuning, repair, and instruction so they may
enjoy music to their full capability.
Because of the way I teach, my students' parents tell me that their performance and grades improve in all areas, not
just in band. I teach them to focus, to pay attention to detail, and to achieve perfection through repetition. I insist
that they not give any less than their best. Mediocrity is never acceptable. I have also had success with students who
have ADD and bipolar illness using my methods.
This applies to me as well in repair and tuning. I know that musicians at any level need their instruments repaired quickly
and well. I work by appointment, and many repairs can be done while the customer waits. Larger jobs, such as overhauls, may
take two to three days, but are always done much more quickly than at the local music stores.
