The rocketry hobby has a number of regulations at the federal, state, and local levels that must be met. This site attempts to cover the federal regulations and to a lesser extent state and local at least to the extent that I have experienced them in Arlington, TX.
My original webpages on regulation have grown over time and this is an attempt to provide a little better organization. Some information is no longer here such as all the verbage about the ATF lawsuit.. The old version will be around for a bit but eventually it will go. When that happens you will still be able to find it at the internet archive. (Note: For some reason my pages stopped being indexed in 2005. I have taken steps to restart that but there is some delay.)
