Insulator Markings

The table below lists the descriptions and photos of insulator markings used on this site. It will be updated as new pieces are acquired. Also, I have included the symbol you will see on this site if you don't have the Insulator Arial Font installed on your computer. These only pertain to insulators on this site and is not close to a complete list away from this site. I don't have some markings to take a picture of or the marking was so weak the picture wouldn't come out well. If you have a photo that I don't, I would be glad to stick it on here. If you can take better pictures than me, which isn't hard, and would like to replace one with a better one, that's cool too.

This chart may shed some light on something. It really doesn't matter, I have to do it anyway. It may be interesting to you to see how many insulators have similar marks. Then again, I may be the only one!
