DAVE YOUNGMAN is an accomplished musician on piano, guitar, sax, clarinet and flute. He attended the prestigious
High School of Music & Art in New York City, and after college, played clarinet and sax in the Army Band. A multi-instrumentalist
and composer, he toured the East Coast and Midwest in the 70's with several rock/soul/jazz groups, and has lived in the Raleigh
area since 1976. Besides his many instruments, Dave also displays his versatility by the many musical settings in which he
performs, which include solo jazz piano at the N.C. Governor's mansion, playing bass with jazz fusion pioneer Jeremy Steig,
taking a rocking guitar solo with one of several former rock bands, or laying down some boogie woogie piano and tenor sax
with his current blues band, Marie LeBleu and the Comitz. Mr. Youngman and the three other instrumentalists in his current
jazz quartet have been working together since 1998.
