	Of all the DVD players out there, "Sony" seems to be the best and most reliable. While other brands are probably as good or close, I personally choose "Sony" products. The bad news is, with something so good, comes a high price and that is most evident in electronics. However, even the highest priced item can come down considerably in 6 months to a year's time, as the industry keeps improving itself, making older players obsolete. Now there are even DVD burners which would be a good financial investment for personal or business needs. Though high now, the time will come when they are more affordable, sooner rather than later. Alot of people wonder why I bother getting DVDs and then "upgrading" them. Well, for one, I'm not that patient to wait for it. Two, at the time, though I assume an upgrade will be made, I don't know when and how that will be. Also, when I have family and friends to pass on my older DVDs, I don't consider that a waste. Simply saves them from having to buy it themselves eventually. Some of the films that haven't made it to DVD yet, but I'm still hoping for are more "Peanuts" specials, especially the feature films among other releases both new and old. I am also always looking forward to expanding my horror movie collection, TV shows and of course, any newly released theatrical movies that catch my fancy. I eagerly anticipate several DVDs in the works or on the horizon, several 2007 movies that I liked on the big screen. I have finally passed 350 different DVDs not counting upgrades (Halloween), bonus discs and TV shows. The way this summer movie season has panned out, Shrek 3, Spidey 3, Transformers, Die Hard 4, etc. will probably be added by Christmas or early next year. It never ends til Hollywood quits making good (subjective term) movies and bankable hits.
