DVDs, "Spider-Man" and various writings. I've also included links to some of my favorite web sites. Feel free

Within the pages of this website, you will come across a wide variety of interests that will give the viewer
a deeper understanding of myself, who I am. All these pages hold some meaning to me, on varying levels of passion. To know
this is to know me. But this is only a small part of me. There is much more to know in the person that I am than what is here.
To fully explore myself and all I am, all I have to offer, would take more webspace and time than I can give.
Suffice it to say, these, among other things are responsible or a direct result of my continual mental and spiritual growth.
Having this site up a few years now, I now turn the question back on you. What would you like to see here? What would you
like to know. I imagine this will open a Pandora's Box, but I'm willing to take that risk. See, growth comes from without,
as well as within.
Given enough response/popular vote to certain printable topics, I'll decided what my 11th page will be
through your suggestions, so let me know. I hope you enjoy this site as much as I enjoyed creating and working on it. This
may be me, but this is not all. There is always more. You just have to ask.

Here's a some info about myself. I was born on Aug. 15th, 1973. I'm a 35 year old single male from Arkansas (where I have
lived most of my life) and my name is Dave (of course). I own my home and car. I have many likes and hobbies, some of which
are listed on this website. Hobbies not listed are reading comic books, writing, watching TV, going to movies, hanging out
with my best friend and his family, being with my own family (when I can), taking pictures and working on my many electronic
devices (TV, VCR, DVD, Nintendo 64, radio, computer, etc.). I enjoy watching all sports especially wrestling and football.
I like to meet and help people as often as I can, part of my giving nature. I am a Lutheran Christian and I try to practice
those beliefs to the best of my ability. It is my belief that by helping others, I make myself a better person. I want to
make a difference in people's lives, make their world a better place. Through this, I believe I can find my own sense of purpose
and happiness. By putting others before myself, I can accomplish alot of good, which is my ultimate goal. My life is full,
riched and blessed as it is, with friends and family who make life interesting. I've come to appreciate the writing I've done
about feelings and experiences can be cathartic and a possible future profession. Words of wisdom : "It's not the destination,
it's the journey".

Here's a some info on my family. I have an older brother (Kelly) who is married (to Tammy) and has a boy, my nephew,
Mason and Macy, my niece. I have an older sister (Kim) who is also married, (to John) and have a girl, my niece, Lauren. On
Jan. 16, 2006, Kim had Landy, my new niece and a new miracle has entered my life. On May 5, 2006 Tammy had Asher, my new nephew
and another new miracle entered my life. I also have a new baby cousin. I love all of my immediate and extended family very
much. I am grateful for all of them and thankful my brother and sister married wonderful, fine people who I respect and love.
My father passed away in 1996. My mother passed away in 2001. I've had many pets over the years, too numerous to mention.
I've been in 3 schools, had 8 jobs and lived in 5 houses.
In my spare time I hang out with my family and my best friend's
family, who are all wonderful to me and have greatly influenced my life. I feel my life has been richly blessed by the people
in it and the opportunities I have been given. I am very happy with my life and with those around me. The past 34 years have
been filled with a great many events, all shaping me into the person I am today. The more things change, the more they stay
the same. I still have a part-time job volunteering to work for the secretary in my church's office. I'm not getting paid,
but it's rewarding enough to be needed and doing something I like with people I like. I've had a part time job at Sam's Club
for 2 years now. This looks to be my last job, Lord willing. Unlike previous jobs, I hopefully won't have to worry about
immature kids and bad behavior. This group seems very professional. I've grown fond of my Sam's family and I'm very happy
working there. I have made many friends.
As 2007 comes to a close and I usher in 2008, I got 2 new members of my immediate
family and met wonderful people who have changed my life. I am still alone, and sometimes think I always will be, but therein
lines a glimmer of hope, no matter how small, that keeps me going. I have opened my self to new possibilities, new avenues
in my search for love and hope someday I will find someone to love me. Until that day, I keep my life full with work, family
and friends.
On relationships, I've decided to focus on the one to tolerate me, to like me, than me always pushing.
I have alot of possibilities, and maybe someday, someone will step up and let me know how they feel about me, if they do at
all. I know who I am, how I treat people and what I want. The trick is finding the one who wants to be with me, not vice versa.
Right now there is one woman I want to see that I haven't yet, then there are others I like to see, yet I am slowly cautious
to find out how they really feel about me. It's better to be in doubt than rejection, but hopefully my gut and instincts will
tell me when to push forward, take a chance.
As plans go, travelling, I went back to Columbus in Oct. to see my dear
friend. I enjoyed seeing her again and spending time with her.. I visited my brother in Texas in Sept. and enjoyed spending
time with all of them. Alot of change around me and within myself. I've travelled alot this past year, and it was worth it.
I also plan to stay in Fort Smith for the forseeable future. This is where my family is, my friends are and my life belongs.
I don't see uprooting myself and starting over when I have so much I've spent years building here. I've worked too long and
too hard to get what I have now to give it up. I may never get the job or girl of my dreams, but I'll never stop trying. I
am happy, but unfulfilled, but then again, who isn't? I think, too, if we had everything we wanted there would be nothing
left to fight for, to strive for. Life is about challenges, hopes and determination.
I've been seriously considering
writing as a profession. Lord knows I have plenty of material. I am also very serious about getting more involved with my
church and former grade school. I'm very busy with my family, friends and church gatherings as well as maintaining a fairly
active and healthy (some would say) social life in an effort to expand my horizons and make new friends. I cherish all that
I have in my life and I'm striving to make my future a happy one. One thing is certain, I will continue to try and grow, evolve
and improve in all aspects of my life in the hope of one day achieving all my needs and goals set before me. On my own or
with help, I must rise to the challenge(s) before me.
I'm not sure what the future holds for me now, but I face each
day with the strength and resolve to make my life complete. I've been lucky, for all that I've done and for the people in
my life. I'm happier than I've ever been. I've also spent alot more time going out either with family, friends or on my own
to meet people and have fun. I am hopeful for the future and it's infinite possibilities.
"To Family, Friends and the Future."
