Pin-Up Girl Search Back On
Posted: September 1st, 2008

My model for the Pin-Up Girl project has dropped out, so I am back in the market for a gorgeous model who wants to try to recreate the innocent sexuality of 1940s/1950s era pinup by Gil Elvgren and Alberto Vargas. Please get in touch if you are interested.
Elliot Randall Band, Hotel Cafe, Hollywood, CA
Posted: August 13th, 2008

My sister is managing a new artist, Elliot Randall, and he's starting to get some traction on radio and in Nashville. We're hoping to see him take off in the near future as more people experience his music.

He recently played a show at The Hotel Cafe in Hollywood, CA and I was lucky enough to get a chance to shoot at the show. I loved the mood of the scene below as they warmed up for the show. Take a look at the other shots in our image galleries.

Check out his album Take The Fall on iTunes.

Pinup Girl Project
Posted: August 16th, 2008

I have found my model for the Pinup Girl project. The lovely Miss Gemma Di'Vine. We begin doing some test shots for our project next week and if all goes well we are going to turn it into a commercial project for 2009/2010.

We are both very excited about the project. Look for some sample shots coming very soon!
Smith And Pyle Live At Universal Citywalk
Posted: August 7th, 2008

Shawnee Smith and Missi Pyle are two of my favorite actresses, and now they are two of my favorite music artists too. They have formed the band Smith And Pyle and they played a free show at Universal City walk in support of their album It's OK To Be Happy.

I find a lot of live concert shoots result in a lot of very similar shots, but I have to say that these women have a lot of fun up there on stage and put on a wild show. I got some really great shots that you can see on their site (www.smithandpyle.com) or here in our photo galleries.

Check out their album It's OK To Be Happy on iTunes too!

I just covered an event at The Cat Club on April 16th, and I got some great pictures. More coming soon. Keep an eye on the Picture Galleries.
Looking For Models
Posted: December 17th, 2007

In 2008 I have six new projects I plan to shoot, and I am in need of models for three of them.
Pinup Girl - I plan to do several images in the style of Gil Elvgren pin-up paintings. I am looking for a female model who has an old fashioned type of look. There will be multiple hairstyles, makup changes and costumes involved, and partial nudity may be required. Model must be 18 or older.

Circuit - Looking for an athletic female model. This series of photos is based on silhouettes. Model will be nude, but in silhouette only. No makeup or hairstyling is involved. Body paint will be applied by airbrush. Model must be 18 or older.

Memory - For this project I am looking for an older woman in her 60s. This will be a location shoot in the Burbank or Sherman Oaks area. One costume change, no hair styling or makeup required.
Prior to setting fees and hiring any models, I would like to meet with them and discuss the shoot and make sure they are right for the gig. I believe the model's time at each shoot will be roughly 3 to 4 hours, including hair, makeup, wardrobe and shooting time. I try to work quickly and efficiently and minimize the impact to your time. If you are interested in modeling for any of these shoots, please contact me at darnspiger@earthlink.net and I will set up a time for us to meet.
New and Revised Photo Galleries
Posted: September 3rd, 2007

In an effort to highlight my best work, I am revamping my photo galleries over the next week.

I am also putting up several new galleries from some recent roving shoots around town that I did with a frieind. I hope you enjoy them.
New "Check Your Photos" Option
Posted: July 1st, 2007

Since we are starting to do more jobs, we wanted to make it easier for people to find their shots quickly without having to search.

Up there at the top of this page you will see the new "Check Your Pictures" option which will take you to a page with a list of photo sessions recently done and a direct link to those shots. Use the password sent to you in email and your shots are at your fingertips. I hope this makes things simpler for you all.
Web Page Revamp
Posted: May 31st, 2007

It was becoming difficult to maintain two separate web sites that share the same backend, so as of today I have combined Traumantic Software and TRON Arcives into one site.

I have also reworked the design of the pages to be a bit more informative but with less on the screen. I hope I have succeeded. As always, let me know if you see anything that could stand some improvement.
