I have been a Cartoonist and Portrait artist for thirty years. I have also enjoyed teaching cartoon art
for fouteen years. I added Anime and Manga to my classes at my students request, and I have loved teaching this style of art
for 5 years at several locations.
I met my first proffessional cartoonist, Charles Schultz, creator of Peanut's the comic Strip, when I was eighteen years
old, he was still teaching at that time and was very helpful in directing me to the mail-order Art Instruction School in Minneapolis,
Minn. that he taught at. Until meeting Mr.Schultz I had no idea where Icould find art instructions on Cartooning and Illustration,
so he opened the door of possibilities to me and I will always be greatful. Now I enjoy opening those doors for my students.
