Horses for sale and links

Our farm is located in Harnett County. We are situated on just over 12 acres. We currently have 5 paddocks and we are working on more full sized pastures. We also have a round pen available for use.
Our barn has 3 stalls, 2 of which are in use. We have an empty stall available for short term mare care during breeding or you can contact us to arrange for boarding availablity and prices.

Our History

We purchased our land about seven years ago and started with just one horse, Brandy. Our second horse was Blaze, a QH/Arab cross. We sold him after 1 1/2 years of rehab. and training. The last we heard, he was being used in Charlotte, NC as a demonstration horse for Rescues.

We started with one pasture that we extended into two pastures and two stalls. Now we have 5 small pastures and a small barn and have cleared off more land for future pastures. We hope to be fencing in more this year for our growing herd.

We went in search of a stallion to breed to Brandy and found Ebony. I fell in love with him and ended up buying him, before we had a barn built, so we had to board him at a farm  in Raeford, NC. Soon we found a Paso Fino named Artista that John fell in love with and ended up buying him as well. Of course we couldn't bring either one of them home until our barn was built.

We then went in search of a contractor and finally found one that could build what we wanted. Now we have a beautiful 3 stall barn with a tack room, along with a quarantine paddock and two more pastures. We have grown pretty nicely.

We just had the rest of the land cleared in Jan 09 and are working on more fencing. We also have a 100x200 riding arena now, located at the rear of the property. It is set up for barrels and can be used for poles too.

Our Service

As you know by now, we have Ebony available for breeding.   We also have Rebel, and we had his DNA tested and he is definately Homozygous for the Tobiano gene which means he will throw 100% color with patterns.
** Update: Rebel will now be standing in Nebraska at Vince Kavanaugh Performance Horses Farm.**  He can be seen at www.vincekavanaugh.com
His Dam is a Black and White Tobiano that we call Foxy Lady. Her registered name is Box C Wimpy Psylocke. She is out of Ohio. Her sire is a champion producer, also out of Ohio. His name is Skips Double Dare and he is the sire of the famous WIll Spot Ya. Her Dam is Box C Wimpy Ann. She is a Foundation Bred QH, also from Ohio. Both of her parents are at Box C Stables.

FOXY has been sold to Triple B Horses in Godwin, NC.

We will have several foals for sale this year. Check back for pictures soon!

Here is a link to Triple B Horses, Godwin, NC.

Please see our Sale page to see the foals we have for sale. We have Sold Ebonys Q-Ton Iceman, APHA registered. He is out of Levis Ebony Arrow  x Zippos AprilSonnyPoco. Both are APHA registered. He now belongs to Rev. Tracey Frink, in Grays Creek, NC. He will soon be in training for barrel racing.
We expect him to reach 15h tall. This little guy is going to make one heck of a barrel horse. We had already done a lot of training with him to get him ready to go to his new home.

We decided to keep Lacy and Chico. Chico is going to be our next breeding stallion. He is going to outgrow both of his parents. He is already taller than his dam, Dixie, and only 11 months old! Chico and Lacy will be beginning their Halter showing on April 4th, 2009. Check back for pictures!
