Q Ton Eagle

Q Ton Eagle is a very highly regarded Paint Horse stallion who has contributed much to the breed. He is by Freno X My Texas Dandy, Jr. X My Texas Dandy. His dam was Q Ton Dixie Alpha by Bear Cat. Q Ton Eagle excelled in pleasure and performance events, however, because the APHA did not record performance awards until 1966 most of his accomplishments are unrecorded. He does have the distinction of never being unplaced in halter classes, and has won six National Championships. He was National Senior Reining Horse and Reserve National Champion Get of Sire in 1966. He won National Get of Sire in 1968 & 1969. Q Ton Eagle dominated every category of the APHA leading sire's list in 1970, 1971, 1972, and 1973. He was Leading Sire of Halter Point Earners, Performance Point Earners and ROM Qualifiers from 1966-1973. In the first 10 years of APHA history no other stallion produced so many winners.
