| Melinda | Delisle-Clark | Completed her Bmus in French horn performance at SUNY Fredonia, then moved south (with her life partner) to take a graduate teaching assistantship in Musicology (writing-intensive) at the University of Georgia in Athens. Partway through that year she decided that she didn't really want to do music at all and began taking nutrition classes. Decided to wait on continuing school and discovered she was pregnant. Her first son, Zachary, was born on May 10, 1999 at home, completely naturally. Now she has 2 sons, teaches natural childbirth classes in Atlanta, and runs a business with her husband (Shawn) helping people improve their health and finances. Past 2 years have been playing basketball with the NJ Nets wheelchair basketball team. With the team I have traveled all over NY and as far down as Florida. Has also sat a few retreats in the White Mountains and plans on doing a New Year's Eve retreat. In October, he will start working full time for the JFK Library and Museum as an education program coordinator. Also works part time for the Gay, Lesbian, Straight Education Network - planning and facilitating workshops for high school students and teachers around homophobia, gay youth issues, and the Mass.
