Dan & Lee's Blogtacular

So Lee and I went to El Salvador two weeks ago. I'm proud to report Lee returned home safely. I plan on returning and devoting my life to surfing, hoping that one day I will not be dashed upon the unforgiving rocks of the coast by the gulfstream. EL Salvador was beautiful yet unsettling. Seeing our Hotel in Santa Ana being guarded by a man with a shotgun was quite sobering. Walking down the coastline where our beach hotel was and seeing the remains of what was once a thriving resort area dashed to nothing beacause of civil war, not something you see every day. The food was good and cheap, you must do yourself a favor and try a Papusa sometime, think of a pancake with a bean and meat center and you have a rough idea.
