Even if you hate baseball, you need to watch this!
WOW!!! The Red Sox were written off after that game three 19-8 drubbing. The curse was taking full effect and they were ready to go home, but then again maybe not.
The Sox have amazingly come back to tie the series and forced the Game 7 against the Yankees in the Bronx.
Yes, I am an Angel fan, and yes, the Angels were swept by the Sox in the division series, but I can't help but root for these "Idiots" as they strive to break the hearts of the Evil Empire.
So, games 4 and 5...extra inning wonders, going longer than Lawrence of Arabia. Papi Ortiz the hero in both forcing the game six.
Game 6, Schilling with his bloody ankle, pitching the game he was brought to Boston to win. He declared before game 1 of the series that nothing would be better than to shut 55,000 Yankees mouths. That happened, only a week late.
Game 7 tonight and I have a feeling that Steinbrenner will be running the streets naked because he finally snapped that last synapse that has kept him from going crazy looney.
One of my favorite sports writers has been keeping a game log here, check it out for a chuckle or three.
