The show no one will watch this season (except me)
I was lucky enough to come across a show on UPN last night that has the potential to be a great show...It's called Veronica Mars. It follows the exploits of a high school student who used to be in the "IN" crowd until her father wasn't the Sheriff anymore. As she explains in the voice over in the beginning "Neptune High is for those who are millionaires or those who work for them." No in-between here.
Oh yeah, she also works for her dad as a non-official Private Investigator.
I dig underdog stories and since I'm one of the two who didn't latch on to The O.C. I'm gonna latch on to this one. Which of course means it will go the way of Wonderfalls last year and Firefly the previous...Such is my life.

Jon here: This sounds like good stuff. Oh, and I don't think anybody I hang with watches the O.C... or maybe I'm just out of it, as usual. :-)

Okay, just watched the show... it was cool, especially the Fountains of Wayne song playing in the car and one of the characters blurts out, "I love this song!" I can forgive the Paris Hilton appearance as hopefully it was a one-time guest role. I won't hang with it if she goes regular. I can't say I'll remember to watch it every week, so, hey, remind me and I'll be there.
