Tai Chi School Rules of Conduct

"You have chosen to enroll in Tai Chi Chuan classes. It is my belief that you will find these classes challenging, rewarding and stimulating. It is my hope that you will find the environment pleasant and comfortable. So that all students may enjoy these benefits, it is necessary to follow a few simple rules of conduct while you are in class.

Please arrive on time for class.

Make every effort to attend classes regularly.

If you enter class late, please do not walk through the lines of participants. Seek your place by walking quietly around the group.

 Stay for the entire class.

During push hands practice keep unnecessary talk to a minimum.

Always show courtesy and respect to the teacher and to fellow students.

Shut off pagers, cell phones, pdas before class begins.

Do not chew gum or chewing tobacco during class.

Tai Chi Chuan is a system with a history of more than 300 years. Although it is hard work it can be a lot of fun. But it is still a highly evolved discipline and we must act with discipline while we are in the studio."
