COMPLEXITY

For the Layperson

Suggested readings for lay-people (like myself) and items related to the emerging science of Complexity. Contributions are most welcome.

For Starters....

All the sites listed below are intresting. I suggest Evolution of Complexity, theComplexity Virtural Library and The Chaos Metalink. These 3 are loaded. They contain such a range of information that they are of special interest to novices who don't know much about science but know what they like.

The Turbulent Landscapes Exhibit at the Exploratorium is intresting and from there you can go to the Complexity Timeline. This is a short tour of developments of the last century that have led to the emergence of COMPLEXITY.

The Articles & Papers are collected from these various sites to help us beginners get started. Look for a program named "frain192.zip" in Fun Software or Fractals - download it - it's a gas!
