HATHA YOGA CLASSES with LAUREL
Welcome! The style of yoga that I teach is TriYoga®,
founded by yogini Kali Ray. I am a certified TriYoga® instructor, and a registered yoga therapist at the 500 hour level with
the Yoga Alliance. My classes are for all skill levels. Each session lasts 2 hours. The drop-in fee is $7. Wear comfortable
clothing and bring a mat or blanket. It is wise to allow a couple hours to pass after eating before doing a yoga practice.
TriYoga® includes the full spectrum of traditional yoga practices. The hatha yoga method of TriYoga Flows unifies postures,
breath and attention. This "trinity" of asana, pranayama and meditation allows the inherent flow to emerge. The practice becomes
deeply meditative, promoting relaxation and inner peace. The method is therapeutic, as gentle or as challenging as desired.

For over 16 years, we've been
meeting at Center for Spiritual Living Greater Dayton (formerly Celebration of Life Church) in Kettering. We have classes here on Weds. at 10 am, Thurs. & Fri. at
9 am, & Thursday 6-8 pm (see above photos) Every 1st Sat. of the month, at 7:30 pm we meet here for "The Yoga of Chant".
We meet in the serene Sanctuary. Parking is very convenient.
I conduct yoga classes that are user friendly. No one should be confused or overwhelmed. The poses and practices are demonstrated
and explained. All classes are "drop-in" and newcomers are always welcome!
Classes begin with a discourse and a chant. The chants are easy to learn. Chants help quiet the mind for the practice. Breathing
practices and posture flows follow. The class concludes with deep relaxation, meditation, and chanting. Assistance to individuals
is not imposed, but is provided according to the participant's need or expressed desire.

A Tuesday evening class (7:00pm) and Wednesday evening
class (6:00pm) meet at David's United Church of Christ at the intersection of David Rd and Mad River Rd in Kettering. Park
in the rear of the building and enter by the entrance on the right as you face the church. We meet upstairs in the quiet and
spacious Fellowship Hall (pictured below) which is lit softly by chandaliers and wall sconces. The room is surrounded with
large arched windows. The view of the trees outside is easily appreciated.

& tranquility of yoga (see photos below). The 3rd Sat. of each month we meet here for Satsang (Chant & Meditation).
