In 1982, I picked up the album Infidels by Dylan and it changed the way I looked at the world. I'd heard of Dylan, of course, and the radio had delivered a few morsels of Bobness, but when the needle reached the end of Infidels' second side, I knew why people had been listening to Dylan all those years. While Infidels isn't my all-time favorite Dylan album now, it was an auspicious start to a long journey.
For now, I'll just recommend Karl Erik Andersen's page, Expecting Rain. It's the first place I go when I'm looking for info on Bob. You can also visit the official page - bobdylan.com - it's outstanding.
