The Boy Scouts of America is the nation's foremost youth program of character development and values-based leadership training.
The mission of Troop 1997 is consistent with that of the BSA National Council. Troop 1997 exists in order to prepare young
people to make ethical and moral choices over their lifetimes by instilling in them the values of the Scout Oath and Law.
