DESCRIPTION ********************************************************************** Nalcarya of White Haven, the alchemist in Balmora, offers an alchemy system for sale that the player may install in any cell. The laboratory consists of a special version of the Alchemists Formulary, a complete set of four alchemy apparatus (either journeyman, master or grandmaster quality), and four cabinets that holds containers for each of the ingredients found in Morrowind, Tribunal and Bloodmoon. Once installed, ingredients may be automatically sorted to the appropriate container or retrieved just as easily. Potion making is streamlined by having the appropriate ingredients automatically added to the player's inventory and the apparatus equipped. The elements of this plug-in may be used as a modder's resource. ********************************************************************** 2. INSTALLATION ********************************************************************** This mod consists of a plug-in module (.esp). a readme (.txt), and new icons, meshes and textures. Unzip the mod into your Morrowind/Data Files directory. The archive is bundled so the new graphic elements are placed in the appropriate folders. It may spare you much grief should you encounter problems or conflicts that result in your un-installing the mod. ********************************************************************** 4. FEATURES ********************************************************************** Nalcarya of White Haven, the alchemist in Balmora, offers an alchemy system for sale that the player may install in any cell. Engage her on the topic 'alchemy laboratory' to learn more about her offerings. Some highlights include: - Individual containers for each of the ingredients available in Morrowind, Tribunal and Bloodmoon are arranged alphabetically on four cabinets. Containers include the image of the ingredient on the outside. - Rapid ingredient sorting to containers and retrieval to inventory. - Beautifully illustrated edition of the Alchemists Formulary. - Informative in-game users guide to the installation and utilization of the alchemy laboratory. - streamlined potion making by having the appropriate ingredients automatically added to the player's inventory and the apparatus equipped. - Journeyman, master or grandmaster quality apparatus may be purchased with the system. Lower grade apparatus may be later upgraded with higher quality standard apparatus. - Activating any apparatus will allow potion making without having to place equipment in inventory first. - All components (excepting the order of the ingredient containers) may be repositioned, but cannot be inadvertently moved. - The entire laboratory may be disassembled to be moved to a different cell. - Additional packages of the system may be purchased from Nalcarya of White Haven for use in different cells. (Consult in-game users guide for known issues resulting from more than one alchemy system in use.) - An unlabeled container is included to store ingredients added by other mods, however the container must be accessed manually (no automated sorting of new ingredients). - The test cell 'alchemy laboratory' may be linked to the world with teleport doors to easily incorporate the features of this alchemy system into your own project, or the features may be included a la carte. ********************************************************************** 5. VERSION HISTORY ********************************************************************** Version 1.00 - Initial public release ********************************************************************** 6. COMPATIBILITY ********************************************************************** This plug-in depends on Morrowind, Tribunal and Bloodmoon. Purchasable Alchemy Laboratory has been cleaned with TESAME, date-stamped and local reference indexes re-numbered with Wrye Mash. If you open this mod in the game editor, use Wyre Mash to preserve the date stamp and local object reference index: Date stamp: 12/31/2008/11:00:00 PM Starting local reference index: 40759 Changing these values could result in conflicts with other mods. CONFLICTS: - Mods that alter the effects of existing ingredients (such as Srikandi's Alchemy) will interfere with the automated potion making feature. However ingredients will still sort properly, and the player may manually retrieve ingredients for potion making. ********************************************************************** 7.
