"We
Will Be Greeted With Flowers" takes inspiration from the image created by the Bush administration before the War in Iraq.
It reflects on the importance of viewpoint when considering any issue, reminding us to always step back, and try to see the
whole picture.
This series makes use of the amusing yet delicate nature of puzzles. Jigsaw puzzles that feature flowers were assembled together
to form weapons or other symbols of war. Also included in this series is an outdoor installation of a bed of artificial flower
bushes that may initially seem to be randomly arranged. By stepping away from the piece, the flowerbed becomes a larger than
life drawing of an AK-47bringing to mind the idea of a public memorial or a peaceful protest.
