On Sunday, October 3, the Taft string orchestra played a jazz gig at the Elks Lodge in Woodland Hills. We played lots of standard swing tunes, which had the audience members dancing and singing. The Taft string orchestra has made a specialty of playing swing and jazz in addition to the standard classical repertoire.
