Universal Studios Parade

Schedule for Sunday, December 14, 2003

 8:30am		Call time at Taft for those who are driving students and
		equipment to Universal.

		We will leave Taft at 9:00 in order to meet at the
		Universal parking lot at 9:30 a.m.

 9:30am		Those who are driving straight from home to Universal
		should plan to be at the parking lot on time at 9:30.
		Parking may be $7.00

10:00am		The park opens at 10:00 a.m.
		The students can spend the day in the park, then...

 2:30pm		Meet back in parking lot for parade practice

 4:00pm		Go to parade entrance

 4:30pm		Perform in parade

The park closes soon after the parade, at 6pm. We will all go back to the parking lot to load up equipment and meet for our ride home.

Any students who are planning NOT to spend the day at Universal before the parade should talk to Mr. Burch about arrangements ahead of time. You will need to be on time for the practice at 2:30 p.m. in the parking lot.

DIRECTIONS:

• Go east on Ventura Fwy to Hollywood Fwy, south (#101).
• Exit Lankershim Blvd and turn Right at the end of the off-ramp.
  (This puts you on Cahuenga.)
• Go to signal which is Lankershim and turn Right.
• Go under freeway and turn Right at signal which is entrance to Universal.
• Go up hill and turn right at signal into small parking lot.
  (If you go past the overhead walkway, you have gone too far.)
