Well, Mare, Once again time became an issue. However, I was determined not miss the time. I'd kept the little time reminder
in my pocket all week just to be sure I wouldn't forget. The plan was to get out of work at 5:30 and grab Marci and the tea
and go do a shot somewhere outside. As fate would have it, my boss asked me to work until 7:30, I told her I would but would
need to leave at least fifteen minutes before the shift. I made the tea work and put it in a thermal mug. Leaving work at
7:15 on the nose I raced against time to grab my daughter and drive to the highest place in Concord and take a night photo
of myself drinking tea (from your cup and trivet) at 7:36 last evening.
Unfortunately, it is not as glamorous as the photo below, which is where I was headed last night. I wanted to
take a night photo there, but when Marci and I went to the edge of the forest and without clear skies it is very dark and
scary. She was really reluctant so I scrambled for a new location with only minutes to spare I remembered the lookout point
behind the Superior Court house.
Below I'm drinking tea from a cup handmade out of an apple and I'm using a leaf as a saucer. This was my original
idea but the times made it tough and I wanted to do it before the bad weather set in. Drinking tea became a stressful concept
during the process of participating in this project of yours. There is a great sense of relief to have finally done it.
It was very tempting to just send you the picture below as an actual tea time drink session, but in keeping with the time
elements of your project: I was a good boy!" One presiding thought was about the other people, I kept thinking about
them drinking in the same instance, and how I would be able to see and possible hear about there moment as well.
Much love,
back to hot cocoa for me!!,
Michael
