Stories from the World of Books5th Annual Tellabration! in Douglasville/Douglas County ~ part of the 17th annual storytelling festival WORLDWIDE
Tellabration! creates a network of storytelling enthusiasts bonded together in spirit each year on the weekend before Thanksgiving. Launched in Connecticut in 1988, the event extended to several other states the following year, and then, in 1990, expanded nationwide under the umbrella of the National Storytelling Network. In 1995, for the first time, there was a Tellabration! in Japan. By 1997, there were Tellabration! events on every continent but Antarctica. (Anyone know any good penguin storytellers?) For more information, visit the Tellabration! website.

Become a member of the CAC and you'll receive invitions to the openings of CAC gallery exhibitions, which change each month - exhibitions are free.
The programs of the Cultural Arts Center are supported in part by the City of Douglasville, the Douglas County Commission, and Georgia Council for the Arts through appropriations from the General Assembly. The Georgia Council for the Arts is a partner agency of the National Endowment for the Arts.
