Beware of Street Parking Tickets:
Apparently stemming from trash trucks unable to maneuver through the streets, management has brought the sheriff up to ticket vehicles parked in the street. Word has it that there will be random monthly visits by the authorities to enforce the no parking policy. The last one we know of was December 26, 2007.
Emergency Plans:
It is always a good idea
to have a plan in case of disaster. know your escape routes and take
your pets and important papers and belonging (essentials only). Don't
forget to set up an out-of-area contact person who will be willing and able to
receive information from separated family members and assist in being the
clearing house for information so that family and friends will know that you
are safe and help in reuniting family members separated by the disaster.
