This is a quick summary of the day. I will try and put a more complete summary up in a day or so. I might also try and add some additional pictures if I get a chance.

We were told that the girls were coming at 3PM instead of the original 7PM timeframe. She is a strong minded little girl who already has two parents that have fallen deeply in love with her. She seems to have pretty good fine motor skills, and the hand strength to pull herself to standing from laying on her back. She came from the orphanage wearing split pants, and a bungee cord used to hold up her diaper.

She loves to shake her head "no" over and over, smiling, giggling, and making farting noises with mouth. (That's my girl!) She loves the picture book like the one that was included in her care package that has photos of Cindy and myself.

The best that we can figure, she has no teeth yet and weighes about 16 pounds. She rolls from her back to her stomach and then back, but is not yet crawling. She also seems to be right handed.

The nanny told me that, on the ride from the orphanage, she wanted to push the button on the bus that controlled the lights. When pulled away from the button, she got upset so they just let her play with the button instead. With this kind of stuborn streak, we have found another matching quality from her mother.

She seems to be a content little girl, willing to make eye contact with both of us, and seems to be accepting of both of us. We hope that this tend continues during the next few days.
