What's New?
Thank you for checking in with the Bolton Family! On March 10th, we were approved to move forward with the adoption of
our second daughter! We will spend the next few months gathering paperwork, completing our home study, receiving clearance
from the US Government, etc. before we can send our dossier to China in July. We estimate our next referral to be in the
Summer of 2007.
April 2006: Abigail is 18 months old. How time flies! At this milestone, we celebrate the fact that Abigail has been a part
of our family for nine months. It is hard to believe this is the same amount of time she lived in Xiushan Orphanage. Abigail
has changed tremendously. As we enter toddlerhood, she wants to try more and more things on her own, but she still likes
to know Mommy and Daddy are right beside her. Abigail is starting to talk more. In addition to Momma and Dada, she says
approximately fifteen words on her own, including: up, apple, dog, bye-bye, and Teddy. In addition, she will mimic many other
words. When viewing family photos, she can point out all family members, and even says Grandpa and Tator Tot (nickname for
Uncle Mike). Some of Abigail's "favorites" include music, gymnastics class, swimming, and anything outside!
