2015 Arizona Division Calendar

Regular Camp Meetings are held on the third Thursday of the month at 6:00 PM at the Country House Restaurant, 4373 S. Highway 92 in Sierra Vista.  Contact the Adjutant at cssscv@earthlink.net for more information.

17 March:  Camp 1710 will give a living history demonstration at Palominas School in Palominas.

21-22 March:  The Arizona Department of Parks & Recreation will host the annual "Civil War in the Southwest" at the Picacho Peak State Park.

10 April:  Camp 1710 will celebrate the 20th anniversary of its charter at 5:30 pm at Contessa's Cantina, 202 Tombstone Canyon (next to the Cochise County Court House) in Bisbee.  Cost for the meal is $20.00 per person.  Contact the Adjutant at cssscv@earthlink.net for information.

22 April:  Tombstone High School  "Yellow Jackets"  Army JROTC Battalion will hold a change of command and awards ceremony in the gymnasium at 9:30 AM.  Camp 1710 will present the SCV's H.L. Hunley Award at the ceremony.



25 April:  Camp 1710 will hold a Confederate Memorial Day Ceremony at the Southern Arizona Veterans Memorial Cemetery at 10:30 AM.  After the ceremony, members will place flags on CS veterans' graves in Tombstone, Bisbee, Benson, Douglas and other cemeteries in Cochise County.

2 May:  Camp 1710 will host the Arizona Division's Memorial Ceremony at the site of the Battle of Dragoon Springs.

6 May:  The Buena High School "Fighting Colts" Army JROTC Battalion will hold its change of command and awards ceremony at the Buena Performing Arts Center at 8:00 AM.  Camp 1710 will present the SCV's H.L. Hunley Award at the ceremony.

9 May:  The Texas John Slaughter Camp 2074 will host the 20th Annual Arizona Division Reunion & Convention at the Old Pueblo Grill, 60 N. Alvernon Way, Tucson.
