     Hello there!  This is the first website attempt by recent-college-graduate, aspiring-artist, music-fanatic, and world-traveler (or so she wishes) Genevieve Cseh.  It was created so that I would have a place where I could easily direct people to my resume and portfolio.

     A few tidbits about myself which you may or may not find interesting:  I am 23 years old, have a brand-spanking new B.A. in Psychology from the University of California at Berkeley, but am now attempting to return to my true passion, art.  Of course, if I can find a way to combine art and psychology perfectly, I would definitely love to pursue that.  I have been a painter, etc. all my life so far, and I plan on continuing to paint for the rest of it  because I love to paint; it's my one true love!  My hobbies, other than arts and crafts, include almost obsessive music-listening and mix-tape-making for my friends (If any of you want me to stop sending those mix-tapes, or if you do want one, please let me know).  Although the decade's fashion may have been downright atrocious (legwarmers and neon spandex?!), I am a devout lover of '80s music, in all its synth-poppy, cheesy electronica yumminess.  Depeche Mode is probably consistently my favorite band, although I do like every kind of music to some degree (including, gasp!, country).  I am also rabid about movies, esp. artsy-but-not-pretentious subtitled flicks.  For more info on my favorite bands and movies and such, please visit my favorites page, which includes links to official and unofficial-but-good sites which hold other fun goodies like music downloads.  I lived in Germany for 8 years as a kid, and was lucky enough to have a childhood rich in castle-visits, and quick weekend trips to other European countries, including Hungary, the country from which my father hails.  A great country, I might add.  If you love Prague, try Budapest!!! My favorite word is "cryptic," the word I use most is "creepy," and if I had to choose a crayon color to eat, it would be periwinkle :).
