Ending Hunger One Step at a Time

Interested in participating in the Heart of Texas CROP Hunger Walk?

Then come to the Kick-Off Meeting on September 4 at 6:00 PM. The meeting will take place at Caritas (located at the corner of 15th St. and Mary St.), this year's recipient of the local funds. Enjoy a sandwich dinner, find out about what Church World Service and Caritas do, and receive all the resources and information you could hope to have to promote CROP Walk at your church or organization. The walk will take place along the scenic Brazos River on Sunday October 19, 2008 beginning at 2:30 PM. Join us for an afternoon of fun ! There will be live music for everyone!

Everyone is invited to participate. The Waco CROP Walk encourages participation from everyone in the community: churches, synagogues, mosques, temples, fraternities and sororities, civic groups, scout troops...
