Ruby is OFA excellent, normal elbows, CERF clear in 2006, no thyroid antibodies and normal thyroid function (all health tests have been normal or better)

She is an easy going, loving, happy driven retriever. She is very intelligent and loves to work or play or sleep, depending on what she sees as the program that I have set up for the day. She has been a joy to train. The first 4 field trials that I personally ever ran a dog in Ruby placed in the ribbons in the Qualifying stake three times. She attained 11 Derby points, is qualified all age, and attained her MH on 6/20/2004 and then qualified for the Master National the next weekend. She has a third place finish in an Open field trial stake (July 04) and several open and amateur JAMs. She has an exceptional ability to mark falls. (JAM means Judges Award of Merit). Since she lives with Standard Poodles she seems to think that she may just be one!

Her first litter consisted on only 2 puppies, one of which is in field trial training.
