Abortion row fears over eye cure

The restoration of a blind woman's sight using foetal tissues is likely to sparked ethical debate, say scientists.

I am not even going to touch the ethical implications of this. However, the prospect that these scientists have successfully treated degenerative eye conditions is tremendous. I hope that further research will enable some of the ethical problems to be resolved. The articles does hint at possibly harvesting stem cells from adults.
